As I've said before on this site, when Marines go into combat, it is not due to the desire to inflict pain or death on the enemy. It is simply because we know our jobs and what must be done. It's the "What must be done"  part that sometimes causes conflict between us and other members of our society. I find it interesting that someone will stand up in front of a crowd and demand that she has the right to speak, but refuses to acknowledge that it is only true because our war with England won her the right to speak without fear. Please think of that when you see a serviceman, and thank them.
